About Taphouse
At Taphouse, the focus is on beer. Quality beer. In addition, we make a virtue out of constantly changing out the taps, so the selection is never the same as the last time you were over.
Although the selection varies, we usually have several variants within all types, so you can always find a beer you like. If in doubt, our tenders are ready with advice and you can have a small taste test before ordering your beer.
In addition to beer, we have a selection of good whiskey and other spirits as well as wine. We also have snacks of different kinds.
The atmosphere is cozy and the atmosphere relaxed. The large room accommodates many guests, but you can still find a cozy nook.
We cool our beer in large cold rooms and not as usual, where the beer is cooled on the way between the cask and the tap. This gives our beer a much better shelf life which contributes to us being able to have so many taps and still serve fresh beer.
Stop by, we look forward to the visit!
Background
Behind Taphouse are Jan Hansen and his brothers Lars and Ulrik Nørregaard. Jan Hansen and Lars Nørregaard were the designers behind Ølbaren in Nørrebro, which opened in 2002. The idea arose from the college days when the ubiquitous beer club took a step further and arranged trips out into the world with the aim of tasting beers from other countries. It fell into good taste and with eyes for the bubbly new beer culture, the talk evolved - over a few good beers - from idea to reality.
